The Twelfth Step Ministry is available to those who may need a Drug or Alcohol assessment for yourself, family member, friend or business associate.

Sliding scale counseling services are provided by Marie Krebs, MS, Licensed Professional Counselor – Intern, Supervised by Carmen Scoggin, and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counslor, Intern and a Certified Sexual Recovery Therapist.

Marie received a Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX, and a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership and Ethics from St. Edwards University, Austin, TX. Her area of special interest and experience are anxieties/stress, depression and grief, addictions, sexual abuse issues, GLBT issues, spiritual and communication issues. She has experience working with individuals, couples, high risk youth, chemically and behaviorally dependent individuals and their families, the dually diagnosed, as well as the senior population.

Marie holds memberships with the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, Spiritual Directors International, and the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics, and NAADAC. She is also a founding member of APRA – the Addiction Professional Resource Alliance, TAAP Dallas Chapter, and AASAT – American Association of Sexual Addiction Therapists.

Marie is a certified spiritual director and works with people from various backgrounds. She is prepared to explore issues related to God, faith or spirituality from your perspective, but only if you request it. She is trained to reflect from your faith view, not her own.
